Retrieves the designated portion of a date, time, or timestamp.

EXTRACT( YEAR | QUARTER | MONTH | WEEK | DAY | HOUR | MINUTE | SECOND | DOW | DOY FROM <date_or_time_expr> )

• DOW: Day of the Week.
• DOY: Day of Year.

Return Type

Integer.
