Monthly summaries of changes shipped to PlaidCloud tenants. Months with substantive customer-visible changes get a full write-up; months that were primarily infrastructure work list the themes that were worked on with the corresponding tenant versions.
October 2026Solver, Forecast, Directory Listing, Import XML and the pandas modes of Pivot, Melt, Allocation Split and the rule-based steps load their results directly and faster, write an empty value as a null on every lakehouse, the pandas Pivot and Allocation Split keep date-and-time values, and a metric definition agreed by two Architects, or built from two others, answers every MCP assistant's question the same way, now with variance against budget, top-N, share of total, weighted averages, fiscal periods and year-over-year comparisons, the AI fix assistant repairs a broken expression instead of saying it can't, a project's Weave activity history shows every change Weave made and who approved it, exportable as audit evidence, each Weave finding has an owner who is told about it and a thread of comments, and every table, step and workflow has a page, written from its settings, saying what it does.
September 2026The Posting Register gives finance and accounting one console to review ERP postings across every project, Oracle HFM/FCCS self-serve extract, a Vector column type for embeddings with exact nearest-row search, builder-seat limits are now enforced, loading a hierarchy into a dimension no longer gets slower as the load goes on, exporting a dimension with alternate hierarchies is much faster, sample content visible workspace-wide, single-sign-on invites skip the password email, the Identity administration tab is admin-only again, a repeated what-if question returns the same answer, the Set Variable steps list your variables again with what each one currently holds, AI agents connected over MCP get ready-made task starters, and Weave watches how your workflows run, tells you when a run brings a problem to light, and lists every finding in a project's Weave tab.
August 2026Resume picks a workflow back up where it stopped, an interrupted step reports itself as abandoned instead of appearing to run forever, dashboards drop their cached results as soon as a table is republished, and AI agents connected over MCP read the workspace with far less of their capacity spent on the reading.
July 2026v5.11.0 · PlaidCloud Git connections, Managed Buckets, ML workflow steps, a Currency data type, REST Request fan-out and connection API definitions, support attachments, and AI allocation cost-tracing confidence signals.
Each monthly summary aggregates the substantive changes that shipped to tenants during that calendar month. Pure infrastructure work (image bumps, internal refactors, RC cuts, secret rotation, observability tuning) is grouped into theme labels rather than listed line-by-line. If a month had customer-visible features, they’re called out explicitly with an Added / Changed / Fixed / Security structure.
For specifics on any particular release, contact your account team.
Looking ahead, every new monthly summary lands here as it’s published.
